ONE ITEM CHECKED OFF THE BUCKET LIST

The first car that was "sort of mine" was the family '49 Ford sedan, after my father bought a newer car. For several years I had a dream of giving it a custom paint job, and perhaps a few other custom touches.  Life on the farm being what it was, that was never to happen.

Late last year I bought a decent plain-gray little Ford Focus for my own use. (We have something a little newer and larger, in my wife's name). A few months ago, I looked at the Focus and started thinking.  Three weeks ago, it came home from a visit to the paint shop.
